It is our prayer that Lakeside is the right fit for your family, and we are committed to helping you in every way possible. The cost of education escalates beyond the realm of normal inflation. We strive to keep our curriculums updated, have the best in instructional technology available, and add the teaching staff that meets the needs of our students. We are committed to developing an academic program that meets the needs of a variety of learners — from the struggling to the accelerated child. In the application of that commitment is an increasing annual cost to provide an academic program of quality. Our annual tuition costs are the amount we need to run our school and meet budgets. It is also an amount that is difficult for many families in this current economy.

For over 30 years, the Lord has blessed our school ministry with the income required to meet budgets. Our desire is not to have to turn away any student due to finances. This coming year we have substantially increased our tuition subsidy budgets to provide aid through reduced tuitions so that families can enroll their students at Lakeside Christian School at a cost they can afford. Financial aid is available to all qualifying families through a process called FACTS. FACTS is an online financial aid assessment program.

Procedures for Parents

Returning parents must complete their FACTS applications no later than March 15. New parents may complete a form at any time once they have made the decision that LCS is the school they wish for their student(s) to attend. Please note, as a general rule, when there is a split family, we require financial disclosure of all parents. There are no financial aid awards given out without all required documents mailed and received by FACTS. Just click on the FACTS icon below to get started. The application cost is $30 and is payable via Visa or MasterCard credit card within the application. If unable to pay via credit card, please call LCS at (727) 461-3311 and you may speak with Debbie Franklin (ext 305) for assistance.

Once an application is completed, it is immediately submitted for analysis by a FACTS representative. FACTS will recommend an award amount to Lakeside Christian School’s Financial Aid Committee for evaluation. We will endeavor to meet the suggested aid amount within the boundaries of our school costs and remaining available budgets. Our desire is to help as many families with as much as tuition aid as possible. You will be contacted by the Lakeside Christian School Administrator when there is a final determination of financial aid assistance. If you have any questions, please contact the school office. Special Instructions for Divorced or Separated Parents: Each parent will have to input his/her own information individually and these will be assessed jointly in grant award determination.

Parents of Students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan:

Lakeside Christian School does not offer specialized programs or employ dedicated staff for students with IEPs for cognitive learning disabilities in grades K-12. While we do admit a limited number of new students each year with an IEP, we require parents to provide prior academic records demonstrating their student’s proficiency at grade level in a comparable mainstream school environment. Please be aware that Lakeside Christian School does not admit students with IEPs for behavioral or emotional disorders.

If your student has an IEP, we kindly request a review of their previous academic records prior to scheduling a tour. You can send the current records for review to jjensen@lakesidechristianschool.org. Additionally, include a cover letter with relevant background information.
