  • Who We Are

Lakeside Christian School’s goal is to serve students grades K5 to 12 with a Biblical-worldview education. Lakeside provides quality educational programs capable of helping a diversity of learners reach their highest academic potential. For over 35 years, Lakeside Christian School has graduated students prepared for college, career, and life. Our classrooms utilize innovative, best-practice methods and curriculums taught by competent Christian educators. The school was established in 1975 as a ministry of Lakeside Community Chapel (LCC). We are accredited by The Association of Christian Schools, International and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

The staff’s mission as representatives of Jesus Christ is to fully equip our students for life. Our ultimate goal would be that our students would come to know, love, and honor Jesus Christ in the way they live in this world. Our school is an integrated component of the youth ministry of LCC; our youth pastors oversee Student Ministries and are intimately involved with the administration of the school program and student life.

Lakeside’s teaching staff exceeds all requirements of our accreditation agencies with the appropriate degree fit for their teaching assignments and grade level. Curriculums utilize the latest U. S. Common Core Standards and best practice methods. Technology is an important part of our educational product, as it gives learners new ways to grasp knowledge when it is presented visually, graphically, and auditorially.

    What We Do

Lakeside Christian School exists to bring God glory and make Him known to our students through the teaching of His Holy Word as a daily core subject. As Christian men and women, we seek to show Christ by manifesting His greatness through our obedience as followers of Him as Lord. We seek to give back to our community with our God-given talents to educate young people. LCS does not exist to seek after just the best and brightest in our community, as is the habit of most in private schooling. We have programs that offer those capable of high academic achievement a rigorous track through elementary, middle, and high school to prepare for the university of their choosing. Alternatively, there are equally rigorous programs that can lift the struggling learner to higher achievement than they had thought was possible. We continually challenge ourselves to ever higher expectations of excellence so that the name of Christ is honored.
