Lakeside Christian School offers students in grades K5 to 12th with learning difficulties a series of layered interventions designed to help them strengthen cognitive and academic weaknesses. This is accomplished within a mainstream school environment. These layered intervention programs provide students with skills and strategies necessary for classroom success. Our programs are individualized and targeted approaches aimed at mediating and improving the foundational issues hindering learning. To learn more about the process of applying for an opportunity for your child in Lakeside Christian School’s Learning Solutions Programs, click here.

The costs of our intervention programs are tuition based, dependent on the number of interventions required, and are in addition to the schools regular tuition. McKay Scholarships often help parents cover a portion of the combined regular and intervention programs. Lakeside has a scholarship program available to every parent based upon financial need to help with an additional portion of tuition. Although we have the expertise to work with a wide variety of cognitive and academic issues, our programs are not for every child. If your child has any of the following conditions, Lakeside’s programs may not be the right fit.

  • Tested below average IQ range
  • Diagnosed behavioral or emotional disorders
  • Proven difficulties following directions and classroom guidelines
  • Difficulty socializing in a mainstream environment
We will require copies of all recent testing done by Educational Psychologists to use in our assessment.
